A full-'snack'-CTO, founder and engineering leader. Jack is an independent consultant working with small and medium software engineering teams. His puppy Gizmo joins planning calls to oversee everything.

Nic is a Staff Performance Engineer in Snowflake’s Applied Performance Group, specifically working on Snowpark. He collaborates closely with engineers developing in Python, Java, Scala and JavaScript.

Sophie empowers people to design and build reliable, secure and scalable systems: a micro service, an internal platform, a team, a confernece, achieving and retaining multiple compliance standards (incl PCI DSS 4 and SOC 2 Type 2).

Rhydwyn is a biostatistician who currently leads an analytics team. His academic background is in computer science and mathematics, and he has completed a Master of Biostatistics, supported by NSW Health. His professional experience spans infectious diseases, environmental health, and open data, with his current focus on accident epidemiology. He has a particular interest in the development of robust data systems and the advancement of research utilising administrative data, and a keen interest in open source.

Chelsea builds communities and technical systems that people genuinely want to be part of. They currently serve as Chairperson of Python NZ and directed Kiwi PyCon 2025. Chelsea has joined the PyCon AU core team to help shape a welcoming, inclusive, and delightfully chaotic conference culture where everyone feels they belong.
