Thats right everyone! Workshop registrations for PyCon AU 2026 are now open!
We’re excited to announce three workshops running on 26 August 2026. Workshops run for approximately 2 hours each, and are sit-down instructor led deep-dives. In 2026 we’re excited to host workshops run by both our sponsors, Meta & Temporal, and the PyCon AU community.
Workshops are free to attend for all conference delegates, but due to capacity constraints they require specific, seperate registration. All new tickets sold will be offered to add workshops on the second step in Pretix. Existing attendees can add workshops by clicking the “Change Order” button on your order.
If you would like to attend just the workshops (and not the rest of the conference) you can purchase a “Workshops only” ticket for $150. This includes access to all workshops on Wednesday 26 August, but not the rest of PyCon AU.
Remember - the workshops dates have changed in 2026. Workshops run the day BEFORE the main conference (and specialist tracks).

View your order online using the link emailed to you at the time of purchase. Alternatively, use the “resend order link” feature by entering your email at
https://pretix.eu/pyconau/2026/Scroll down and “Change your order”. Here you can update add-ons, including workshops and extra shirts etc. Be sure to save your updated order.
Make sure you “Update details”, to answer additional required questions for the add-on products you’ve added to your ticket.
Simply register for your ticket as normal. On the second step, you’ll be prompted to select add-ons including t-shirt sizes and specific workshops.
